Optimal provisions also for your physical well-being
The cuisine of the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park reflects the diversity of the landscape and its products in a very tasty way. In addition to a natural and down-to-earth cuisine with typical regional dishes, award-winning cuisine also appreciates the regional diversity.
The foundation of our local cuisine are hearty delicacies such as ‘Grumbeere Wurst’ (potato) sausage, stuffed potato dumplings, spicy - juicy ‘Schwenk and Spießbraten’ (roasts on a grill or rotating over a fire) or ‘Spansau’ – suckling pig. It also gets pretty ‘wild’ here when e.g. a young Soonwald boar, a Schinderhannes platter or a poacher's salad are served.
Those who prefer fine cuisine will find themselves ‘near the stars’ with our local gastronomy. Enjoy quality of life at a romantic dinner or a hearty snack in a country inn - what more do you need?
